Seeds of Hope in Buzau
From our missionary Decebal P.
There is something beautiful about quiet, faithful obedience.
At the beginning of 2026, our missionary Decebal P. and his church family in Ciuta, Buzau, Romania committed themselves to a season of fasting and prayer. They prayed for spiritual awakening among believers, unity in diversity, the salvation of the lost, and a deeper commitment to making disciples.
And then they stepped outside the church walls.
On the very day of fasting, the church mobilized for mission. People were open to hearing the message of the Gospel in areas that were not previously evangelized. They prayed for poor children and their parents and they gave them New Testaments to begin their walk of faith. They distributed food and warm winter clothing for little ones in need.
As a result, five adults chose to begin attending the program of the Filadelfia church in Ciuta. Among them, a former police officer. The words of the Lord Jesus moved hearts, seeds were planted, and hope was shared with those who didn’t dare hope.
This is how the Kingdom grows. One step at a time, through prayer, sacrifice, compassion, and courage.
We ask you, our faithful partners, to pray for the ongoing ministry of the Filadelfia church in Ciuta. We ask that the Lord will continue to open hearts, to protect faithful workers like Decebal, and to provide for every need. And we thank you for your support. May God bless you as we labor together for His glory.
