Bringing the Gospel One Life at a Time
“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy… to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority.” Jude 24–25
Winter ministry in rural Romania often happens far from the spotlight. There are no large events, crowded conferences, or public platforms. Instead, the work of the gospel continues quietly - through personal conversations, acts of kindness, and faithful service among ordinary people.
Our RMS missionary Angel D., serving in the village of Prejmer near Brașov, continues to share the gospel wherever the Lord opens a door.
Angel often speaks with people one-on-one - with those he meets in the village, with people he travels with, and with neighbors he encounters during daily life. Many of these moments cannot be captured in photographs, but they represent the heart of his ministry: bringing the message of Christ directly to people who might never step into a church.
During the winter months, practical service becomes another powerful way to demonstrate Christian love. Angel and several brothers from the church have been helping families prepare firewood for their homes. In many Romanian villages, heating still depends on wood-burning tile stoves. Logs arrive long and heavy and must be split, cut, and stacked before they can be used.
Working together with axes and saws, the brothers help one another prepare wood for the cold season. Sometimes they even transport wood to families who cannot manage the work themselves. These moments of shared labor often become opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual conversations.
Angel also continues a simple but meaningful ministry of encouragement and care. Periodically, he visits believers and others in the village, bringing a loaf of fresh bread from the local bakery. For many, this small gift becomes a reminder that they are valued and remembered. These visits often open doors for prayer, conversation, and deeper relationships.
At the church in Prejmer, the next generation is also being nurtured. Recently, the children prepared songs and recited poems before the congregation. Their singing of the song “Ține-mă în mâna Ta” deeply moved the church family as the children joyfully praised the Lord. Moments like these remind the congregation that God continues to raise up young hearts to love and follow Him.
Angel also gathers regularly with other pastors from the region. Each month they meet in rotation to pray together, discuss biblical topics, encourage one another, and share the challenges and blessings of ministry. These meetings provide vital spiritual support for those serving in difficult fields.
Though much of this work happens quietly and without recognition, it reflects the steady faithfulness of a servant who continues to proclaim Christ wherever God places him.
Please pray for Angel and the believers in Prejmer. Pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, clarity in ministry vision, and spiritual strength for the work entrusted to them. Pray for love and unity within families and within the church, and that many in the village would hear and respond to the gospel.
Faithful ministry in villages like Prejmer depends greatly on the prayers and support of believers who share the burden for gospel work.
To continue this ministry, Angel needs approximately $750 per month to cover basic living expenses and allow him to devote his time to evangelism, pastoral care, and outreach in the community.
If the Lord places it on your heart, your support can help sustain this ministry and allow the gospel to continue reaching people throughout the region.
Together, through prayer and faithful partnership, we can help bring the hope of Christ to villages across Romania.
